A country filled with waterfalls, national parks teeming with wildlife, and soil that sprouts with no effort. It is a sad fact that the first things that spring to one’s mind is an HIV epidemic, starving orphans, and dictator Idi Amin, but that is far from the whole picture. In their poverty, the Ugandan people are grateful, hospitable, and live a life of simplicity. In their desperation, they dare not hope, have a survival mindset, and resort to desperate measures.

What if it were possible to turn stark poverty into abundance, broken relationships into healthy families, and forsaken hope into realized dreams? God is in the business of miracles.

Butende is a village of around 20,000 people. It is one of the largest Muslim populations in Uganda. It is here that we are building our first school, business training programs, and health center.

Who we are as an organization

We are a people who seek to be there for the forgotten, the widow, the orphan, and the grandma who is caring for five kids on her own. We aim to demonstrate God’s love in action by creating opportunities and hope through education, healthcare, and financial sustainability programs.
